I thought that my phone is f*#@&d up. Glad to see someone else with the same problem :)) That means this is a software related issue. Do you use Magisk? If so...what modules do do you have installed? Also, do you have any display hz OC mod installed?

I don't use facebook messenger on this phone. My phone refuses to wake up the screen from time to time. Even if the power button is pressed several times. But, sometimes, after 5 to 10 seconds it wakes up by itself. Sometimes the phone freeze completly and i have to force reboot.

@SePiest did you solved the problem? I-m in the same situation as you. My phone more often freezes when trying to wake up the screen.

@shadow170 did you solved the problem? I'm in the same situation but with Mi9SE.

Anyone having issues with the phone not waking up sometimes when power button is pressed? Pressing the power button several times does nothing, and after 5 -10 seconds the phone suddenly wakes up. Mi9 SE.

The home gesture bug was present also in this week release. But, with this version the bug is gone.

I think that is a launcher related problem. Today i have installed the latest release of the launcer from apkmirror and the gesture bug is gone. But, the latest release is missing the unlock animation.

Same here, sometimes "swipe up to go home" doesn't work in certain apps like facebook, youtube and even in system apps like settings or messages. This bug was present in all MIUI 12 releases. Mi9SE.

Is it only me, or sometimes, when using fullscreen gestures swipe up to go home doesn't work?

Same here. Phone is always awake.

Is this a whatsapp bug or MIUI 12 bug? It was present also in the first release of MIUI 12.

Same here, date on the lockscreen and notification shade is in the wrong format.

My headphones are some AKG earbuds. Using them on other phones and my laptop, they sound so great. I think it has something to do with the fact that Mi 9 SE doesn't have a 3,5mm jack. The audio is routed through usb with an adapter.
