TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

It is version 21 which is contained in Magisk. I installed the last version after renaming it to zip. Adaway works correctly, Magisk having installed Systemless hosts. Thank you for your availability Poney. (tu gères ;) )

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Hi pony, thanks for your answer, you mean I reinstall by flashing Magisk zip? I was wondering if Orangefox had a built-in Magisk install feature, which would avoid downloading and flashing the zip?

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Hello, I installed the latest version of Orangefox (thank you Rbarat for the update) as well as Miui 12.0.4.0 then, for fear of having problems reinstalling the root, I uninstalled Magisk with Uninstall.zip and deleted the app . How do I reinstall Magisk? (I saw a Magisk tab in Orangefox)...

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

I just have a schema but it does not ask for anything to unlock. Every time it reboots on stock recovery do I have to reflash twrp, or if I find and remove install-recovery I would automatically have twrp ??

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Thank you for your answer. Indeed I am still with the stock rom. When you "flash this" do you mean in fastboot mode? Should I rename the twrp-3.5.1.A10-joyeuse-geoanto555.img file to recovery.img ? thx

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Hello, I just updated to Miui 12.0.1 (Android 11) on my RN9Pro Joyeuse and of course no more TWRP nor Root. I read the previous posts but am puzzled, which Custom Recovery to install and how to put Magisk back ? Thx Fr: Bonjour, je viens de faire la mise à jour vers Miui 12.0.1 sur mon RN9Pro...

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

It's quite curious, after updating the rom to go to 12.0.3, then reinstalling the root with Magisk, I wanted to wipe the cache and there my TWRP disappeared, to make room for the stock recovery! I did not think that these operations impacted the Recovery!

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Twrp finally installed with the autoinstaller file version "RN9Pro_Installer_TWRP_3.5.0_10-0.exe". It's very cool because it installs Twrp in English. On the other hand the link leading to "TWRP-miatoll-v2-30032021-09.47.09.zip", the most recent version, there are 2 files, which one to take...

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

Thank you for your answer. I unlocked the bootloader in the days following the reception of the phone and rooted immediately with Magisk, I just have to take the plunge for a custom recovery, I was only worried about the data because in the beginning there were not many alternatives, since the...

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

In fact, I don't have a priori for this or that file, what matters is the preservation of my data. As long as it installs TWRP without erasing anything it's great

TWRP / Orangefox recovery for Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyeuse)

I asked the question because somewhere in the first post there is "Back up all your data (photos, videos, files, etc.), the whole phone will be deleted"
