    Happen to me too... Maybe it has something to do with tkdn regulation in indonesia about 4g/lte device In miui8 is even worse, i cannot get lte reception at all even i set it from phone information

    Happen to me too last night... after upgraded to miui8 i can't get lte reception, so i flash miui7 dev rom from xiaomi eu using twrp and my device cannot boot.... Fortunately i managed to flash with stock china stable rom using miflash tool.... I am using redmi3
