Since mdnsd appears on updating to v6.6.1 what I did was to completely turn off the phone and charge it to full 100% and turn it back on, and mdnsd disappears. It happens again when I flash MIUI 7 Global Beta V5.8.23 and I did the same routine and it disappears again till now. Turning off GPS...
