MIUI announced on Facebook that the SGS2-build would be official from today. How come it says "Beta" here? Fingers crossed for at typo.

I testet this a weak ago. Pretty cool widget. One huge flaw, though. No 5 day forecast widget. If I wanted to know what the current weather was like - I'd look out the window.

Well, that kind of defeats the purpose. I've set the phone up (installed necessary apps etc.).

I've just rooted and flashed a friend's HTC Desire. I've also set it up for him, but when I hand it over to him, I want that feel of 'new phone'. So, is there a way to reset the MIUI tutorial? To make them pop-up again (the little orange bubbles), like it was the first time it was turned on...

I have tweeted the MIUI China developers 6 times, to get an answer, over the last 4 weeks. They haven't responded. As a journalist it would be terrific if I could record my calls this easily, but they just won't comment on it. I cannot see there should be any technical problems...

Hey guys, the call recorder implemented in MIUI, is only one way; i.e. it only records from the microphone, not from the speaker (the guy on the other end). How do I contact the Chinese developer? Got an HTC Desire, cheers.

I do.. :( Happens in almost every call, that is more than a few minutes long.

HTC Desire: Doesn't vibrate on call. (and I've double checked and am certain of the settings)

I've redownloaded the files, wiped cache numerous times and the dalvik cache likewise. --- Still getting the loop. I'll try to flash the previous ROM - and if that works, I'll wait to next friday to update. EDIT: Is there an archive where I can find previous releases ?

Thanks mate - I would really like to avoid factory wiping - but I will try to clear the cache and the dalvik a few more times before flashing the ROM again. I'll report back how it went (right now my phone is making a backup - takes a few minutes).

After flashing the new ROM, my Desire has been booting for the last hour. Been using MIUI for 6 months, and I've updated every week. Cheers, AoOs
