Good time to ask this. Do you need to uninstall/remove the gapps before flashing, or will they simply disappear or become disabled after flashing the ROM? I don't have any gapps at the moment, not ready to try them. Knowing what happens when you flash would help me decide whether to try. ;-)

Maybe the reason I got a crash the first time was that it was the first time I tried to use the camera after updating. Then I panicked and restarted instead of just being patient?

Thanks, that's a good point. Please note, though, that first time I tried the photo app today the phone had been on for a few hours with minimal use.
