    I got the same problem on my Mi9SE MIUI 12.0.2, when I tried to add a phone number I just called to a existing contact, the dial app crashed.

    yes, I have already set Messaging as my default app, Mi9SE, MIUI12.0.2, the most recently stable version.

    Same issue, I only got this problem on MIUI12 xiaomi.eu rom, it shows 'Set Messaging as your default SMS texting app to be able to use blocklist'
