Hi, may I ask, if anyone knows, why the last Stable for Mi 8 EE came out four month ago? :) The normal Mi8 got updates since then, even in November. Totally happy right know with the last EU Rom for the EE, but just wanna know. Maybe there was some info that I missed.

Hey people, Since Miui 12 Stable is now out on Mi8EE (works perfect btw), I have two questions. 1. Since Miui 12 the Swipe Up gesture changed from open Google to the Default Browser again. Is there a way, where I can replace the Search tool with Google? 2. I found in the Developer Options...

Does anyone know if there will be a new version for the Mi8 EE? I don't think there was never an official version, but there were several adapted versions of the TWRP for the Mi8...

I like the MIUI launcher, so I will wait...but thank you for the info! Hope, that the next update will be coming soon...

The solution is either wait for the next Rom or to reinstall a backup made before the upgrade.

@ingbrzy - Is there a fix planned? We still hanging here...

I think there has to be a mistake with this Rom version. Would be great if some Stuff member could maybe check this or at least say something. It's a few days by now.

@Stuff - please take the new Mi8 EE Rom down until the next or an improved release. It has major bugs (as you can read in the bugs thread) and it's maybe best not to offer it anymore until there is a new version, so that other users won't be affected.

Yeah, it's sad, this is the second time, that the new Rom for the Mi8 EE has major bugs, so that you can't use the phone really anymore, and I think that should be the last thing with a "Stable" declared release... After the last time I learned to backup my phone before any update and I am...

Didn't knew it either. ;) Is this now a standard for new Roms that they come with the right TWRP? Btw, don't recommend to update Mi 8 Explorer to V11.0.2.0 - the Rom has several major bugs and you can barely use the phone. Had to roll back. It's better to wait for another update.

Had the same issues, had to roll back. Also some issues with some apps, they randomly opened and I couldn't close them, not even force close, because there was no way the gestures worked at that moment. And even when you managed it to close the apps, they just reopened after a few seconds...

OK Google doesn't work. Did I miss something important? All needed settings done...
