Has anyone tried to modify fstab in new releases? Modification in 20.2.20 and earlier causes reboot to twrp for me.
Edit: It works after edit fstab, format data and boots :)
Thanks @ingbrzy.
I have a question why changing in /vendor/etc/fstab.qcom at end /data to "fileencryption = ice, quota" causes reboot to twrp (mix2s)? I want to keep encryption at the data partition :( Some time ago it worked..how can I keep the encryption?
Edit: It works after edit fstab...
Oh sorry but I only tested miui 11 and back to lineageos 17. In my fstab at /data I had encryptable = ice, quota and changed to fileencryption = ice, quota. Before installing eu, I did a wipe vendor partition in OrangeFox recovery. No magic.
I flashed EU but checked and changed fstab in vendor before booting. For me it wasn't "fileencryption=ice, quota". When I tried to run EU without changing fstab before I had bootloop.
Thanks, for MIX2S it works very well. For me GPay worked after installing "fix for GPay".
@ingbrzy why encryption in EU Vendor is off? I had to manually change fstab to boot xiaomi.eu with encrypted data - I wanted to keep data encryption.
I would rate my FP 7/10. Has anyone tried flashing persist.img from new dev china in EDL mode? Does persist.img have any relevance to the performance of the scanner? Flashing fastboot ROM with clean all option does not flash persist.img even in EDL but we can change records in rawprogram.xml and...
I do not see any errors on mi5s :-)
Has anyone tested the setdpi magic magisk module? I unfortunately got bootloop after installation on miui9.
