I have the last stock rom 12.0.15 and I don't know why but even with the big battery, i feel a drastic battery drain, at 60hz or 120hz( it's the same) it feels really warm even with the transparente case This problem is so big that my 2 years old mi 8 Lite with miui 11 retains a lot more...

Also with mi 8 Lite. It present overheating while charging. I know it Is normal certain level of warm but It feels excesive in the whole phone

About Mi 8 Lite, the battery drain wakeups seems a lot better. But the device sometimes feels a little bit warmy, so It could be improved the chip performace. But the overheating and battery drain with phone calls needs a huge fix guys. Just reporting. Nice job to all.

Hi guys I just want to inform you that miui 12 as a rom in a mi 8 Lite consumes a lot of battery on stand by and wifi services. For example in 1 hour in stand by i lost 3% of battery and with a phone call of 1 hour 23% besides the phone feels warm AND with any call It gets really hot. Hopefully...

Ok. Drained all the battery...waited 2 hours a and charged It. After 1 hour and 3 minutes i lost 3% or 4% of battery. Thats crazy. The problem Its the wifi and stand by. Yesterday a Made a phone call of 1 hour and lost 23% of battery.

I did that and the system runs better but even in battery save mode, This miui 12 Is power hungry. And drains the battery the same as before. When i make a phone calle It gets hot in the upper section of the phone. It needs a lot of adjustments. Does any one experience the same issue?
