    Can I also just say, 12.5.7 is da bomb! Definitely smoother and faster than 12.5.4, everything just loads quicker without some of the lag previously. No camera issues that I can tell, and about the only thing where jury's still out, is battery life.. then again with 65W warp charge, who cares...

    You know what.. I am dumb.. just deciphered your keypress instructions... its powerup+vol up, then let go of power key n continue to hold vol up key till twrp stsarts... got it! Thanks

    Thanks I just saw your earlier post and managed to get TWRP installed by installing the older driver from MiUnlock, THANKS. However now I can't seem to get into TWRP on the phone by Power+Vol UP... I get Mi logo, a vibrate, blank screen then when I let go, it still defaults back to standard...

    @katerpanne after executing fastboot boot twrp.img, Terminal just shows <waiting for any device> and phone is simply showing the Fastboot screen with no further activity whatsoever

    Thanks, I get that. But there's already a custom watermark built in which does the job for most albeit non-pro users. It's almost as if Xiaomi wants a free ride on yr digital assets if you want to use it. My point is, for a phone that touts to have all the bells & whistles, separating the device...

    There should be a way to enable custom watermark without first enabling device watermark. Think photo enthusiasts out there who want to be credited for their work without having to advertise their gear every time.

    Hi, 12.5.4. here. When prompted to update my firmware, everything proceeds as intended (downloads the fw OK, integrity check OK...) then we get to the final popup "are you sure to continue?... device will reboot to recovery and install chosen file...data will not be wiped". At this point...
