New 3.9.27 - i9100 - Timestamps for files are not preserved via MTP

Copying files to the phone via MTP doesn't preserve their timestamps (original creation/modification times).

I miss in this forum the feature of being able to subscribe to threads individually via RSS. Actually it's only possible to subscribe to the whole forum.

New 3.9.27 - i9100 - Missing option to encrypt external sdcard

When setting encryption is possible, those devices offering it should also offer the option to encrypt external sdcard. The option is missing on MIUI roms. I guess that's because Xiaomi phones don't have external sdcard so it's not implemented.

    3.9.27

I reply to myself. 1) Encryption only operates on internal sdcard. I guess that's because Xiaomi devices don't have external sdcard. 2) Yes, its possible. See related thread.

New 3.9.27 - I9100 - Restore to factory reset doesn't format internal sdcard

Having the SGS2 encrypted, doing a factory reset from Settings, happens that doesn't wipe the internal sdcard. It just remains encrypted with the addition that can't be reformatted anymore from the MIUI settings of from MIUI recovery. In fact, I had to reinstall original Samsung rom with Odin...

How to encrypt external sdcard (microSD) on MIUI?

Does anybody know how to encrypt the external sdcard on MIUI? It seems the option is missing from the menu (I guess Xiaomi phones don't have external sdcard so doesn't appear). My phone is a Galaxy S2.

Using encryption on MIUI - GT-i9100

On this thread I'll post how it went using encryption on the Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 with MIUI 3.9.27. - Turning on encryption requires: -- At least 80% battery -- Phone connected to charger -- Lockscreen with PIN or Password. - Encrypting a device which is already loaded with data may fail. At...

    3.9.27

I have 2 questions: 1) Is possible to encrypt gt-i9100+sdcards having root? It's for the purpose of Titanium Backup. 2) Is possible to install updates + multilang updates once device is encrypted?

    Translation work started

Good news, Edward! I have no criticism to add off the bat, but a suggestion: upload installable language pack tests here, in public. This should speed up the translation work :)

You didn't read me properly. I'm asking for One X+, not One X. The codenames are evitare for LTE and enrc2b for international. Endeavoru is the previous model.

    New SGS2 i9100 - 3.5.24 - Misc issues

Some Android versions will allow you to view and transfer any file via MTP, even hidden and dotted files and folders; others will allow you only from a whitelist. Samsung stock ROMs behave powerfully here so I recommend them. If you want Mass Storage mode you should use stock Samsung also, MIUI...
