Zoiper Voip-app Does Not Wake Up On Incoming Calls

I don't know if this was ever resolved but I have exactly the same problem with TextMeUp VOIP app on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Prime. Incoming calls/messages work fine on Wifi, but on 4G data the phone does not ring. The same SIM and app version works perfectly in another non-Xiaomi phone. Any ideas?
