New Redmi K60 - Camera app cannot take landscape photos/videos

***GOOD NEWS UPDATE!!!*** I've just updated my Redmi K60 to the Xiaomi EU Stable V14.0.26.0 and the MIUI camera app can now rotate between landscape and portrait mode accordingly. This bug is now fixed thanks to the developers!!!

So that means you're still stuck with this camera bug and have not found a solution to fix it yet?

Yea well, u flashed the dev version. I'm on stable. The xiaomi.eu_multi_MONDRIAN_V14.0.24.0.TMNCNXM_v14-13.zip to be precise. But then again, I highly suspect that only my K60 for some reason has this issue as no one else has ever mentioned being in the same boat as me. So tbh, this bug could...

Yea, but I'm pretty sure this is a bug on Xiaomi.eu's part, not Xiaomi's. Like I mentioned in my post, I did not have this bug b4 I flashed the Xiaomi.eu ROM.

Interesting. U can try it out and let me know how it goes for u. I'll probably just stick to the Xiaomi.eu ROM coz I prefer regular MIUI over the Poco Launcher.

Yea I just saw it coz it was on the first page. I already edited my reply.

I don't think I updated any system apps. I noticed this bug almost immediately after I did a clean install of the Xiaomi.eu ROM. Also, I did try to clear the cache and delete the data of my camera app, but the bug is still there. I cannot find any way to "uninstall updates" for the camera app in...

Bruh wth is wrong with my Redmi K60? Can u check what version your camera app is running on?

If I did, I'll definitely let you know. Maybe for some reason, my Redmi K60 is an anomaly and you'll be fine if u flash it on ur own Redmi K60. But do it at your own risk ofc. I recommend u try flashing the Poco F5 Pro's ROM first like u wanted.

U can try it out and lemme know. It'll be easier for u since you're already on the official MIUI ROM from Xiaomi. I'm also curious to know if it will work coz I just noticed that the POCO F5 Pro's firmware has the same codename as the Redmi K60 (Mondrian). But I still highly doubt that it will...

Coz they're still considered different phones from a software perspective. I expect their firmware or something is different even though they're the same hardware-wise. It is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea ik that hardware-wise, it's pretty much a Redmi K60, which is why I said it's just the global version of the K60. But, software-wise, the global MIUI ROM for the Poco F5 Pro won't be compatible with the Redmi K60. So we can't flash that on our Redmi K60s.

New Redmi K60 - Camera app cannot take landscape photos/videos

The Poco F5 Pro will be a different phone from the Redmi K60. Sure, it will just be the global version of the Redmi K60, but we won't be able to use the software for the F5 Pro on the Redmi K60. From the software perspective, they'll be two completely different phones so their ROMs won't be...
