Thanks you are a saver....i just flashed as you said and even with dirty flash from 12.0.8 by clearing cache ,dalvik and package cache things seem to go quite smooth. Many thanks to @MeiGuddet for his clarification as well..

So you prefer to flash the older Twrp first since i am on the latest one and then the 12.5 rom and not directly the new rom
