i understand. just listing the issues i've come across in case another MIUI update arrives. end users don't know what can and can't be fixed by the devs so i'm just throwing it out there.

stable is less buggy, as the name suggests, but less frequent as well, so you'll have to wait up to a few months for new features, security patches and android updates.

k20 pro - been having issues with widgets not refreshing at all for a couple weeks now, be it third party or xiaomi stock apps, like annotations. mostly third party widgets though, i.e. today weather, samsung health step counter, and gmail (this one seems fixed now). also wow at the security...

after a few problematic updates back in may/june, all versions since then have been flawless. props to the team. edit: spoke too soon lol 4K60 video plays back in 30fps for some reason. 1080p60 works fine. not sure if it's a recent issue since i don't often use that resolution don't think...

amazing work, everything seems to be fixed and smooth as hell on my k20 pro. also it says i got Widevine L1 now? last time i checked i've only had L3 from the start, don't understand how this works but props to the team.

can you tell me if the spotify/media notification issue has been fixed? and does your AoD randomly blow up to max brightness (the clock itself)? updater app has been very sluggish these past few updates so i'm still trying to download my version but if nothing's changed then maybe i'll skip it

having this same issue on my k20 pro. if i slide it away it leaves a huge blank space in the notifications tray (traditional control center) and eventually comes back. still having issues with AoD brightness as well, it randomly blows up to max even in dark rooms or doesn't turn on in bright...

it's not specific to the Mi 9 either. i usually turn auto brightness off indoors and leave it at around 25%, then turn it on to go outdoors. been having this issue since MIUI 11

the screenshot gesture isn't too frequent and can be circumvented via the screenshot button on the status bar, but the media player issue seems to affect other music/media player apps - another user reported issues with PowerAmp here earlier today, as well as Spotify. i don't know his device...
