Redbean, Did you try it already? I did it again and it seems to work for me. In the meanwhile I updated to MIUI-JLB22.0 and hope that the sound problem wouldn't occur again. iBuyGou support told me to do a recovery using volume key and power button. When the problem reoccurs I will try it.

Redbean, I got this problem too. It appears randomly. I can hear the caller when I turn on the speaker or using headphone. Reboot the phone doesn't help. I contacted iBuyGou.com, where I bought the phone for this problem. But I don't think they have the solution... Will flashing the ROM help...

Craig, I do have update option and it says that I'm on the latest version. I see that your MIUI version is "MIUI-3.7.19" and my is on "MIUI-JLB20.0". My sound is gone again. I don't hear people calling me. Will your version solve this problem? Thanks.
