    Thanks for your reply. That meant this phone is restricted by its hardware, not by software? It's quite difficult to return the phone and ask for replacement with the shop in China.

    Hi, My friend bought me a Xiaomi HongMi Red Rice from China. Unfortunately, it's a TD-SCDMA model one that doesn't support my 3G-WCDMA' SIM system. Is it possible to make this phone to work on WCDMA system by replacing with a ROM of WCDMA model one? Any advice? Thank you,
