Mi 9T Pro (21.4.21) I also tried to install the Global ROM a long time ago but Widevine stayed at L3... Xiaomi appears to be silently blocking/invalidating Widevine L1 keys on unlocked devices... with no recovery option like other companies offer... very sad :(

Sorry ... but nothing can be done .... This also happened to me with my Mi 9T Pro after doing a weekly update. Persist partition gone ... (even though I'm 100% sure I haven't wiped anything) You will stay with Widevine L3 forever

@ingbrzy & @Igor Eisberg This feature can be also implemented unnoficially for the earlier series? (Mi 9, Mi 9T/Pro and etc) Xiaomi maybe can enable this on Global release of 12.5? This would be a great improvement from the company... Best Regards

The tasks under battery section don't deactivate automatically. Like I set a task with airplane mode. It activates automatically but don't deactivate at the set time the device keeps under airplane mode until I disable it manually

Same problem with me bro. Flashed this update and my Widevine L1 completely gone.... Very sad... I already reflashed global stock but still L3... And on 21.1.14 I have L1 perfectly...

Yep. I always check the Widevine version before and after flashing an update and on 21.1.14 I had L1... This update screw everything.... Now can't watch Netflix or Prime Video with max quality... sad... :( dev can't do anything...

Well I never wiped my persist partition and with 21.1.14 I had Widevine L1... I just flashed this new update (21.1.20) and now lost it... Like I said on my bug report this last update definitely screwed Widevine.... Because even rolling back to 21.1.14 the issue still exists

The ROM with the fixed libs is already reuploaded for Raphael? Because I already re-downloaded the zip from Source Forge (same MD5 from OTA update) and the issue persists

After flashing this rom the Widevine is now L3 (before is L1) on my Mi 9T Pro * Issue appeared after updating from 21.1.14 to 21.1.20

I was on weekly 21.1.14 and after flashing 21.1.20 the Widevine on my device is now L3. Edit: Someone telled me on 21.1.20 thread about a re-upload of the rom zip with L1 libs. Already downloaded it but Widevine still L3 MD5 is the same from the one I downloaded trough OTA. Edit 2: Yeah...
