will watch this thread as i started to have similar problem, with that difference, that i do have 5GHz at home and redmi12 can see and connect it only when i am not more than 1 meter away from the router. I hope this is some software bug that will be resolved.

Today noticed that my redmi 12 is failing to connect to router's 5GHz WiFi. It was ok for more than 1 year (since i had this phone), but now it's failing if you go away from the router for more than 1 meter. At the same time, other WiFi clients of 5GHz at my home network are still getting...
