I have, incidentally, just noticed that I am on Android 13. I have tried to upgrade but phone says it is on latest version So why has it not upgraded to 14 ????

Update 2 Just used my giffgaff sim in an old iPhone XR and it is happily using Wi-Fi calling

Update The giffgaff sim in my wife's iPhone 12 Pro is now using both VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling So the problem seems to be with Redmi Note 11's implementation of VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling

There is a suggestion from giffgaff that Redmi (Xiaomi) have to update my software/firmware

Definitely - as in post 3, in both cases the check disabled message appeared. and to check, I enabled them and then disabled them again
