I don't know what went wrong. I followed everything you had said but nothing. I'm stuck at the fastboot orange text.

I did that. Everything goes smoothly but i get sent to MIUI Recovery 5.0. Update: I wiped my data in that recovery menu and it worked. I would get stuck on reboot loop and recovery menu. I don't mind losing my data but to anyone who does careful. I hope no one goes through this haha.

What I did was wait until the fastboot screen went out by itself (or just until the phone turns off by itself) which took about 30 minutes to 1 hour for me. After that I held down the power and volume down button. It went to the same fastboot screen. Idk if it helped but I shut my PC off. Then...

I have the same problem. I was able to load up a recovery menu (miui recovery 5.0) but it was in chinese. I tried translating it but my phone rebooted and didnt get to do anything. I've tried doing it again but i cant. Phone load up to fastboot too fast.

Mi 11 Ultra. New pull down status bar still seems laggy when going left to right. I don't know if its just me or that's the way it is but that's the only thing I've noticed. Other than that everything is good to go.

I'll try out your process next update. So far for me everything has come out great without having to clear cache/dalvik. No bugs (that I've noticed). Thanks again.

Updated to 21.6.30 on my Mi 11 Ultra. Everything is good to go. *Forgot to mention, reboot time was much faster than before.

Should I clear cache and dalvik when I update in twrp? Or is it optional? Thanks in advance.

I had a problem like that too. You have to go to "more dark mode settings" in the settings and enable/disable which apps you want dark mode to be applied to. That worked for me.

How can I update my phone's miui version? I have a Xiaomi mi 11 ultra MIUI version "MIUI 12.6 by Xiaomi.eu 21.5.13 Beta" (weekly) and i flashed via fastboot. Do i need to wait until a fastboot version is available? I don't want to be stuck on an old version. Thanks!
