You can't compare oem rom with a costum rom directly. There are things that have to be changed and implemented to make it work as wanted.

I think there is an easy solution for you: -Wait till next xiaomi.eu stable is released. If it's an Android 11 version i'm sure that it will be more stable and less buggy than your actual one.
