Individual Apps access control does not work. After clicking on "Enable access control" and recording a pattern when I click continue nothing happens (stuck on this screen unless I press return or retry). Settings>Security & privacy>Privacy protection>Enable access control

Are you talking about stock MIUI Music player? If yes, it does have equalizer. If not, you may want to try Volume+ from the play store.

System settings force closes on Nexus S MIUI JB - tried fixing permissions.

FYI, there is an error on the Nexus S as well with the MIUISystemUI.apk - its not FC'ing but stuck at scanning errors on SD Card.
