Great update on both Mi 8 and Mi Max 3, but I want the 4x3 grid for quick settings back. Both devices have a 5x1 (5 tiles in 1 row) quick settings row after pulling down the status bar which normally expanded to a 4x3 grid (4 tiles per row with 3 rows), but in the 8.12.20 update it stays at 5x3...

Mi 8, everything is fine, including touchscreen, but the quick setting tiles now stay at 5 tiles in a row even after expanding. It used to go from 5 to 4 tiles when expanding, which i very much prefer and now miss, but I cannot find a setting for it. Is this a bug or a feature?

Mi8 on Xiaomi.eu ROM 8.11.15. Language set to German. Overlay is fine.

Looking great on my Mi 8, much better than the original settings. I hope this can be integrated into the Xiaomi.eu ROM, otherwise we would have to flash this addon ZIP every time, and someone would have to provide it.

You have to install the Magisk app (.apk) after flashing Magisk (.zip) in Recovery and rebooting into the system.

You have to wipe data and start with a fresh installation after going from (Android 8 based) 8.8.30 to (Android 9 based) 8.9.24. Did you do that? Wiping Dalvik and Cache is not enough.

Exactly the same problem on the Mi8 with 8.9.20 and Android P. AAC was working fine with my headphones on 8.8.30 and Android O, now I'm stuck on SBC, even after manually changing to AAC in developer options, it sticks to SBC.

Tethering indeed does not work on Mi Max 3. You can only activate it on 2.4 Ghz. On 5 Ghz, I get the message that 5 Ghz band is not available in this country, but I cannot change the country anywhere. But even on 2. 4 Ghz, it does not work when connected.

This is a known problem with an easy fix. BT stops working after deactivating it once or going to airplane mode. You have to put the phone in airplane mode, reboot to recovery, wipe ART/Dalvik and Cache and reboot, afterwards it works.
