Thanks! About the lazyflasher, I don't need it?

I have a Redmi Note 4x running Lineage 14.1. With the release of MIUI 9, I think I'll install xiaomi.eu rom. What steps do I have to follow? I'm asking that because I read some people saying I just have to wipe system/data/cache through TWRP and install the rom (like any other custom rom)...
