Only problem I have on my Mi5 8.0 is that I can't encrypt my device. Clean install, wiped everything.

Unfortunately my Mi5 doesn't encrypt if I follow these steps. I can start the process, but after two confirms it reboots without encrypting. I've met all the requirements to be able to encrypt, but it doesn't.

Can anyone confirm this? I really need the encryption, otherwise I can't use Exchange anymore, which I need every day...

These cpu's are turned off when not needed for battery saving purposes. Try stressing the cpu and check again.

I have the same, found out there's a small workaround if you disable the conversation mode, where emails get grouped. Now there's only some emails that make it FC.

My first impressions on the Mi5 64GB, everything fine except for the Play Store wifi bug. VoLTE setting is back again after a few weeks being greyed out. No further issues so far! It didn't install properly through the TWRP manager, but rebooting in recovery and installing manual was a success.

That's a good question... don't know yet. are you rooted? maybe de-install and reinstall through play-store?
