Yes, that did the trick. Thank you very much. The instructions on the Stable v12 home page should mention that the install instructions are for existing EU roms and other roms may require additional steps or a link to a page with additional instructions. -

Started with global v11, downloaded eu stable v12 for dipper, installed via Orange Fox, shows success, rebooted and got a pretty MIUI showing on the screen but does not boot further. Rebooted to Orange Fox, wiped Dalvik and cache, rebooted again. Same story. Shows colorful MIUI but does not boot...
