Same here. If I use the sounds which come with the system, it works fine. If I want to use another sound, I can select it, but there is no sound when I get a WhatsApp message. Just updated to MIUI Global Stable 9.1.1.0, but the same......

Dont think its a software problem. My 4x works fine, never heard about this problem. You should give your phone back / change it....

Maybe the contact to your sim is interrupted. So it happend to me. I made a little paper with tape under the sim to get it pressed in the slot. So just have a try, if it is the same "hardware problem"....

.... and it sometimes says, that i don't have an internet connection... But i have... Any ideas how to ban those pop ups?

Yesterday I switched to 7.6.29 from an earlier weekly. From this moment, sometimes a little windows pops up and says, that i have to verify my Google account. But my account is verified, play store works, synchronization with Google works.... Any ideas about this pop up?? It nerves....

Thanks tazyrazy, could you please explain the steps with deinstalling and installing the drivers a bit more in details. Im not 100 % sure if i know how to do it. I got the same 50 % problem... :-( Thanks, schoeny

I changed with Mi4c from the stable 8.1 to dev 7.2.9, it locked my bootloader... :-(
