I have it on the Mix 4 also, but mine is when the light changes. It's almost as if I can feel the phone vibrate when it stutters like that.

I don't think there will be a long term solution again. Google is screwing up a lot of things. It's so strange how they decide to change or disable useful features. Especially the most recent changes to Google photos. Off topic so not discussing that though.

I doubt it, everybody with a custom ROM is unable to use Gpay
