Even with Chinese version xiaomi.eu rom enables band 20 and all 5g frequencies. There is no hardware differences it's just software limitation. I have flashed my Chinese version with official EEA ROM it picked band 20 immediately but only activated single sim. With xiaomi.eu everything works...

It doesn't work. Second sim remains inactive...use Xiaomi.eu rom if you two Sims to work.

Yes you can stable rom using twrp. Weekly ROM could unstable cannot trusted to use as daily driver

There may be another stable ROM in May, could be towards end. If you wait stay on 11.0.24 if not downgrade is the only optiin

Please note, with Global version only one sim card will be activated. The ROM will disable the second sim card. Currently only Xiaomi.Eu from which is based on Chinese works, allowing to use both sim cards...this rom is optimized to EU (GPS, 4g and 5g networks, google integration - except Ok...

Looks like there are quite a few bugs in the 11.0.24 - I had experienced the issue you mentioned along with unable to use youtube,amazon and few others to mention.

Some delight full information - MI 10 is due to launch in India on 3rd May, they advertise it as Dual sim with gapps. So potentially proper Global ROM with dual sim support - don't put too many hopes due to CoVID-19 things could be delay and LTE bands could be different.

Im on Vodafone and it uses band 20 . Use force 4g only app it shows LTE bands and forces the mobile to connect to tower with band 20. That said it crowded area its uses band 1 too

I have been Xiaomi.eu for a month now. It connects to band 20, google pay works. Only thing it doesn't work is ok Google. Make sure you use version 11.0.20 and not 11.0.24 which is buggy though being called stable version.

I have advanced formatted using a TWRP. I hope your device will be fine. Lets hope MIUI 11 HKG ROM will be available soon - which support dual sim and B20 to be available. Surprisingly - 11.0.20 connects to BAND 20 with no issue, where I read a few forums where people express issues.

Couldn't disagree with you. Even I had to revert back to 11.0.20 - really impressive Stable ROM. Hopefully the next build will address the issue.
