I don't have rooted yet from the update

I have installed the last weekly, but since I have installed the first MIUI 10 ROM I have heating issues, even if I watch YouTube videos or use social networks over WiFi. I have done a Format data before flashing the ROM via twrp. Is this a common problem or it's something wrong in my phone?
