I had the same issue. I just downloaded the .zip file and then tapped on the 3 dot menu in updater, and selected choose update package. I then selected the file I just downloaded. Updated fine with TWRP

Yes, I flashed the first EU ROM. I will get twrp, and update, hopefully it gets better. I haven't reported the bug there, but I will right now. Thank you for the reply, and guidance.

I'm having the same issue. I'm on Mint mobile, which is a T-Mobile MVNO

I cant seem to get my APN settings to work. Whenever I try and make a new APN, it just crashes. It says, "com.android.phone keeps stopping". Any work around for this? Also, when trying to update via fastboot, my Linux PC inst recognizing the script. I dont have TWRP, just using fastboot.
