I'd honestly suggest a clean wipe. I just installed the update on my mi6 with a clean wipe and everything was great. My GFs mi 5s however, seemed laggy after installing over a previous build. But it was better smooth after a wipe and reflash. Sent from my MI 6 using Tapatalk

Without proof, your message is just a message without any real helpful info. Also, your battery could also be bad due to apps you have installed on your phone. I've been having pretty good battery on this build and muy standby drain has also improved. Are you rooted? If so, you might try...
