To help as much as I can, there is currently no bypass, but you can use a paid service from like HyperUnlock of etc that can do Chinese Xiaomi phones, but they come at a price of 65 euros (for the chinese bootloader unlock). Its very difficult to do it the official method for foreigners.

well yeah it wont improve the modems as they are a part of the hardware but I wonder if the Xiaomi.EU like 'Allows' the modems to be able to connect to 5G in Malaysia.
