My redmi 8 and redmi 8a are crashed, which are running latest stable eu MIUI 11, did factory reset but no hope

Is there anyone facing with "call recorder records nothing"? I see the recorded file's length is shorter than the calling time, and hear nothing. All records from MIUI 11 are fine. My phone is Violet. I didn't format data, just dirty flashed then wiped cache/dalvik.

I can not make any call by FB Messenger anymore on my Violet, calls are always ended immediately after I touch the pickup button.

just switch to on then off, and keep it OFF. No need to reboot.

I am using English (US) and got the same issue, installed this rom with cache/dalvik, data wiped. Try enable 'GSM alphabet' and disable it, maybe this will help. Good luck bro!

I have met couple of issues with my Whyred 1. same as #1 above 2. Google maps does not show my location (the dot is grey) while location mode is Battery saving unless turn on the GPS (change to High accuracy or Device only mode).

Hello friend, I don't have a redmi4 but if you still have problem(s) with your phone language, hope this will help: You must unlock your redmi4 and a recovery to install a new rom that supports your language you want (such as eu rom, from here https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-5-25.40192/ ).
