Did that, works fine on stable. On weekly, notifications still don't get through since one update in April. In nearly every update thread since then users ask if it has been fixed, but it still hasn't been, as another user here confirmed.

I don't think so. You have to use a PC to extract the package, manually reboot into fastboot mode, enter cmd on the pc, start the correct file (otherwise all your data is gone) and wait for it to finish, just to not be able to make use of the A/B partition scheme, as always both slots are...

Hey there, I've bought a new A12 device recently with the A/B partition scheme and noticed that every update writes to both slots. I wondered, if it would be possible for the inbuilt updater app to directly support A/B updates, thus with no need to reboot in the recovery to install an update...
