Oh I can assure you that tab is enabled wether you hide the apk or not and wether you use magisk hide or not. Maybe the culprit is the app itself as it's designed for non-root users, it won't ask for root access unless you have the real deal there.

to be fair, I only had this issue with one app so asumed it was normal. Panda Gamepad Pro will never ask for root permission unless you have the magisk app named magisk (and not manager or whatever name you hide it as). I use root for very basic stuff so wouldn't know that much, just assumed it...
