You have to unlock the bootloader with the unlock tool from Xiaomi. There is a how to : https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/all-in-one-guide-compilation-on-how-to-flash-xiaomi-eu-roms-on-your-mi5s.36132/ It's for the mi 5s but the steps are the same. First time you unlock a Smartphone?
