MIUI ROM 2.8.24 Release [ICS & JB]

i did a full wipe. and i have a backup. i can revert back to 2.3.7 backup. but it is not booting into 2.8.24.

installed on my htc desire s. but stucks with a blank screen in the first reboot. am i missing something?
