i have exactly the same problem on MI8. I've tried cleaning data on a few related apps but didn't help. wait for a fix

The problem remained on my MI 8, too

can't update apps in google plays store. Stuck in downloading and has no speed. Tried clear all data and cache of Googlle Play Store and Google Play Store Services and still no success. It's on a MI8. Seems multiple people here have the same problem? Anyone found a fix? Thank you.

i have the same problem on my MI8. It can not update and get stuck in downloading. It drains battery while stuck trying to download. Clearing cache and restart didn't fix the problem.

this happened to me twice and both times it's after an update. it might be an coincidence. I hope the development team can look into this and we don't have to do this once per week.

it worked for me however after another update the same problem came back.
