Edit: rubbish, see update The "hey i'm using camera/microphone" icon in status bar is only for background apps, not foreground apps. Confused me a little bit at first because i thought it was not working. xiaomi should add an option to enable it for foreground apps as well.

Does the camera work?

Yeah that's confusing so I get confused everytime

Is k30s ultra == 10t pro? I've read that stable beta MIUI 13 has been released for k30s ultra Edit: no it's 10t but we are close anyway

10t pro hasn't been getting a fully working update since 7 months :)

Read an article that said global MIUI 13 is coming "very soon" for 10t pro ... Does this mean new camera blobs? And in case are you going to re-upload the "current" (when new MIUI is dropped) weekly or are you waiting next weekly?

Did xiaomi forget this device? Every other device in the 10 series got the miui 13 update (beta or stable), only this one has been left out. :(

You can install 21.7.28 which is the last working version. The only thing not working is the qr scanner but you can use Google lens for that. Note that you will get system apps update, ignore them (at least wallpapers and themes)

When the update will be available, can i upgrade directly from 21.7.28 to 22.whatever ?

Yeah it's truly horrible. It scales down when high FPS is needed (games, system animations) and scales up when not needed. I just put manual 144 and it's a bliss. When I need battery I'll just turn on battery saver which scales down to 60.

The last version with working camera (but broken scanner app) is 21.7.28

Thanks for the detailed testing, these posts help to understand in detail how does the rom behave with the phone, so people like me can decide whether to install it. Keep it up ;) (Edit: removed draft mistakenly posted)
