Yep while testing the ROM we found out that Play Store wasn't behaving correctly, often crashing. I guess the dev team is fixing it, it will be back soon ;)
Anyway, checking out different sources brought me to the conclusion that stable should be based on commits deployed up to half October...
Don't worry, it's fine. While trying the ROM we found out that Play Store app was behaving uncorrectly. The dev team is probably fixing it, I'm sure it will be back online really soon.
Yep that's a workaround, but shouldn't happen on a fresh install (erased all partitions, flashed official China, flashed twrp, wiped everything, flashed xiaomi.eu). @ingbrzy do you think fixed ROMs could be uploaded?
@ingbrzy cannot access Play Store on Mi 5c 9.1.2.0 stable as well... Here's the log:
java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'void android.app.AppOpsManager.checkPackage(int, java.lang.String)' on a null object reference

It is there, HMNote4X (mido) https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-eu-multilang-miui-roms/files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv9.0/xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote4X_V9.0.4.0.NCFCNEI_v9-7.0.zip/download
@Sunit if you'd update to V9.1.2.0.NCJCNEI, could report if there are any notification issues (WhatsApp or Telegram related, where there's no sound/led/vibration)?
Haven't encountered such SIM card error... Have you tried it in another phone? Have you enabled 5 bands mode in Song Assistant hidden app?
Battery issue could be related to developer ROM (have you enabled battery saver under 20%?), anyway the Surge S1 SoC has been around since less than one year...
Great news, official China stable V9.1.2.0.NCJCNEI has just been released! I've updated the first post:) No xiaomi.eu build yet, let's wait a few hours!
@ingbrzy I can confirm everything. I've checked out your MIUI 9 xml repo and indeed many strings in PersonalAssistamt apk are still in Chinese, while other localizations have already been completed (e.g. miui.it). If you'd like I can help:)
Great news, the notification bug affecting Telegram & Co. has been submitted officially to Xiaomi devs! Let's cross our fingers for a fix:D

Yep that's the original version, xiaomi.eu has also changed the UI back to stock TWRP one. I know it's just a recovery and not the OS, but as touch is perfectly working when a MIUI 8 build is installed and stops behaving correctly once a MIUI 9 is, that probably means a change to kernel modules...
Might that be related to Note 3 SE being based on Global dev instead of China? A friend of mine who's running Global dev on his Mi 5s has white backgrounds indeed (which I personally find way better looking than those colored ones we have on China).
