That's the expected behavior I think, the day/night change is only visible in the upper part of the notification shade, where it shows weather infos.

@ingbrzy @graw2 do xiaomi.eu's stables have OTA support like weeklies?

I've just noticed that Mi 5c ROM has been reuploaded (as well as other devices), does anybody know if it's working fine now?

I think I've explained myself wrong, I'm sorry. This early morning, the only device officially delayed by Xiaomi was MiNote. I have a Mi 5c and I did a fresh of 7.11.2 but it turned out that the "System launcher keeps stopping" error made the device unsable on this release. After a few replies...

@ingbrzy @graw2 sorry to bother you guys, it's a quick question. Do you think delayed devices will be reuploaded during this day/weekend or they'll just skip to next week release?

Looks like xiaomi.eu's OTAs are released 19:00-20:00 GMT, anyway just wait this evening

That has to be done by miui.it team, report issues here https://github.com/MishFdM/MIUI_V9_Italy/issues or using miui.it official forum ;)

Indeed it is a nightmare compared to xiaomi.eu releases. Just wanted to point out that the crash might have to do with some customization applied to eu's ROMs.

@ingbrzy I can confirm "System launcher keeps stopping" on Mi 5c as well. Fresh install via fastboot. Issue does not happen in official china dev.

Absolutely, apart from the notification issues (do you know if it's going to be fixed in 7.11.2?). Was just curious if you guys would release a stable branch as you did with MIUI 8. Anyway thanks for the amazing work :D

@ingbrzy should we expect a stable as well for the next release this friday? I've read that Xiaomi has started the stable rollout on Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2 and Mi 6.

Thanks a lot for the info! Do you have the notification issues that affected many people (no sound or led in telegram and similar apps)? Sorry for the questions, but as of now I can't test myself as I'm away from home

@ingbrzy Is the "zoomed video issue" I've told you about fixed on Mi 5c with this release?

    What Firmware

I've described the video bug with screenshots here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-10-19.41961/page-19#post-391780 It's basically a video resolution upscaling issue that happens within apps such as YouTube. Many official bugreports were sent to Xiaomi itself, but a fix is still pending...

    Install Stable Xiaomi.eu Miui 8

So far I've tested builds 8.5.3.0 and 8.5.4.0 which is the latest one by xiaomi.eu (the last official one is 8.5.5.0, but it's not going to be released as the team is working hard on MIUI 9). There's no big difference between the two, anyway no video or data connection bugs in my experience. And...

Sorry I thought you know about this. Here are two shots taken straight from YouTube app just one second apart, during which resolution was switched from 480p (first one) to 1080p (second one). Instead of fitting the whole frame correctly, a zoom in happens and as you can see just the upper left...
