You have to clear (with the same method) com.miui.gallery AND com.miui.mediaeditor My gallery don't crash anymore doing that, shame it has to be done with every update, but well, it's a matter of like 10 seconds.

Update on my post from yesterday: gallery started to randomly crash, so I adb shell pm clear gallery and media editor and as usual it worked, no more crashes.

I simply update the app and everything works fine without clearing anything. It just works. If your wallet says "security requirements not met" in settings (so no popup when you open it), it's fine, just wait 8/24hrs and it will update itself

That's not a rom issue nor it can be solved by the update/rom itself. And as for changing phone, just know that any other make/model will NOT work in the same way (without a patch/fix) if the bootloader is unlocked.

Uhm I'm using Zepp with an Amazfit T-Rex, and had no issues from D1. No disconnections, no issues with notifications... if the watch you're referring to has wear os, that is a whole other story.

Ishtar here, all good (via fastboot, I'm used to that method now I don't bother with twrp unless I have to). I had to redo the adb trick for Gallery crashing, but that takes like 5 seconds so I'm fine with it. No other issues, well except the detecting layers while setting a magazine wallpaper...

Well, I did clear all data in the framework too, but I never experienced any delay in the notification department... I guess not everyone has issues with this

And as I said before, following all the steps is a must. And once you get the gist, it's a matter of 10 minutes at most
