When you flashed xiaomi.eu custom RoM, did you formated the /data partition? Because if not, the phone remain in boot-loop almost all the time. The fix is to enter into TWRP, format data and then reinstall the custom rom, as it is specified on the first post where the firmware it is listed.

Not sure if you have your issue after latest update (September 8 2021), when 12.5.8 was released for Mi10 (umi), or the issue was present before on your phone. I have same model as yours, same firmware, but without your issue. Please file a bug on Bug area with more details, to be investigated...
