Since you have posted on the Xiaomi.eu forum, you can unlock the bootloader and then flash the xiaomi.eu ROM, which have the Miui dialer (Phone app) which have natively support for call recording.

I used my Mi 8 with xiaomi.eu ROM, unrooted, to pay in stores for more than 2 year without any problem. I used for payments bank dedicated applications and Google Pay, if I remember correctly I had the HCE Wallet option selected as Secure element position from Connection & sharing settings.

For Mi 10 5G the Indonesian ROM have as a dialer, SMS and agenda the MIUI applications, instead Google applications. You can try to flash Indonesian firmware too, but I still recommend the xiaomi.eu custom ROM.
