The lag looks like the graphics driver isn't working right.. the screen constantly flickers. Also, it says "Roaming Connection Flashing" across the top, and claims to be roaming instead of 3g.. lol.. kind of amusing.

Thanks.. just trying to get sdcard to mount, don't want to do too much until zipaligned/deodexed :) See what mounting the sdcard fixes and go from there :)

Started a thread over there. I can make calls, but not receive.. sms works.. trying to read the chinese, so not sure how that will all work out :) LOL EDIT: Installed English pack. I can actually read what the screen says now. Still buggy as crap. No 3G, no Wifi, no SD card, no camera..

I was trying to extract the files/structure in linux.. have to install the entire toolchain etc, and I don't feel like messing with all of that tonight.. lol I'll work on it later.. but even then, don't know what I'd find.. I have no programming background or linux either, for that matter.. LOL

I'm actually trying to extract ahgsmk's kernel now to see if I can find anything.. but I've had no problems at all with 3g other than the very start..

As long as you don't need MMS or camcorder.. all other functions are working. Still a little slow on the lockscreen, but so far I haven't missed a call. Also reports of people not being able to hear during call, but cycling speaker on and off fixes that. I haven't experienced either of these...

They are working fine for me.. Just checked and double checked.

3G was fixed by copying all the files with *ril* from CM7 into MIUI... Also, don't have to toggle wifi on/off, it just takes a minute or two to come on.. SMS is working for me too, I just had to reboot my phone.. Also, on a random side note.. don't laugh, but my previous phone was a Samsung...

What files did you change?? If you don't mind me asking that is.. LOL

The fix didn't work as hoped.. will look at a couple other options as I can. My son has a baseball game tonight, so I can't be on here much.

I took the bearer data from cm6 beta, compiling now and will test.. can't work on it much more until later tonight.

I found bearerdata in the jar.. will move it over and see how it goes.

Did you try copying Ahmgsk's framework to the 1.3.5??

Did you ask ahgsmk how they got SMS working before? Just out of curiosity.. :) There has to be something we've missed, that they know about :)
