ahmgsk is an amazing dev.. if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even know what MIUI was. It's his ROM that got me started, and then the thread led me to here. Now I just want a stable, functional version. :D

I agree, it's supposed to be there, but in your rom you have those files in the base directory, not the /kernel-update directory.. I'll flash as soon as I can (had to Odin) and see if it works better)

Yep. I found a minor issue in your updater-script. At the end, it's trying to install a kernel from a /kernel-update directory. I changed the settings and will flash it in a min to see if it works. :)

I didn't change anything.. flashed again after wiping everything x3, instead of x1 like I did for the first flash.

Downloading that now. Will compare to mine and see if I can find differences, if any. Also will check and see if my last attempt to fix the kb worked. EDIT: Now my 3g isn't working after reflashing.. weird.

I copied over the entire lib folder from SRF, but only overwrote items with ril in them :D LOL The keyboard and button layout have me confused right now. Looking for possible solutions.

Which rom are you talking about asdfghjkl? I copied the /system/lib over from SRF, and it didn't work, now trying just to copy the ril files and see :) EDIT: I got 1.3.5 phone/data to work. Keyboard still limited (ie, no period, etc). On screen keyboard works in browser. Power button still...

There isn't a kitchen for the epic. I've been looking around. I've never used a kitchen, just using editors and winrar.. lol

Even after editing, it still doesn't have a data connection. EDIT: It has Airplane mode enabled, and won't let me disable it.

Figured out why the 1.3.5 didn't work. It still was trying to connect to VZW instead of Sprint. I just have to find the file again and edit it, maybe data will work then :)

I pretty much updated the most of the directories in \system with files from SRF. Obviously I did too much :) LOL. I was hoping to get data working. I know that the ahmgsk build had data/gps/3g working, but my biggest issues were that you couldn't disconnect the call, easily... and there...

My newest build didn't get past the SAMSUNG screen again.
