    This does not work ok, it simply boots. No 3G. Wifi connects, but I still don't have a data connection, the camera works.. gps says it needs data connection. I'm trying a different build as soon as I get it on my phone.

    I'm interested in a working MIUI, whether it be GB or Froyo. My objective is to get a Froyo working, and then go to a GB. Maybe we'll have working CM with GPS and MMS working by then as well.

    Constant FC android.process.acore.. WIFI works, 3g doesn't.. much more to test Keyboard hit and miss. Home button doesn't work, on screen keyboard doesn't work.. but I gotta sleep.. will work on it tomorrow

    I'm in! I repacked the newer sys files into the xda build and it worked! Testing functionality now.

    xda build.prop is sprint, just the last is vzw.. I'll edit, but I gotta gtb in a min too. Will work on it tomorrow though.

    Also, the build.prop seems to point towards verizon as the carrier?

    Good 'nuff for me. I looked through the 5 or so custom ROMs I have on here and none of them had a boot.img, so it made me curious. I know practically nothing about linux, so this is all new, but interesting to me.

    So, here's my question. Why does this ROM have a boot.img, but none of the other ROMs for the Epic have one?

    I definitely want to help. I don't know much about this, it's my first attempt at editing ROMs at all.
